My Weekend

I had a wonderful trip to New York City and then visited my son at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. I wanted you to see me standing in front of the first store in Bethlehem, PA that was built in 1749. I was thinking about all of you when Mr. Polito took this picture. There is so much history we can share with each other!

Happy Halloween!!!

Digital Cameras

It is time to get out the digital cameras and take pictures of our grass growing and the water cycle in our terrariums! You be the photographer. You can post your pictures on our blog. Stay tuned!

Dirty Hands!

Today the class made terrariums in pop bottles. They planted grass seed, sealed the top with saran wrap and will begin watching the water cycle. Who would have guessed that we could have 28 water cycles in one room!!!

Don't Forget!

Don't forget your LMC books for Thursday. We don't want to be embarrassed on the bulletin board in the LMC!!!!

Thank You!

I want to thank all of you for today's good behavior when you were asked to do your writing in Miss Patton's room. I received news after lunch that my dad had been sent to the hospital. I needed to call home and find out how he was. I appreciate how you moved to a new room and worked quietly. Miss Patton said you were wonderful! Thank you! He is doing well and I appreciate that you are such a mature, well behaved class.

If you have read this message, put a bean in the jar by Friday!

Love,
Mrs. Polito

Having a locker is great! In the morning, when you put your back-pack away you then get out your math stuff. Then, after math before you're in your homeroom put it away and get your vocab. and reading stuff. Then, for the the rest of the day get what you need when she tells you to and when. If you follow these tips you'll be successful.
